We have some bittersweet news — we’re pausing operations at Laurel Bakery across all locations as we begin to plan our move to Prospect Heights next door to Café Mado at 791A Washington Avenue.

We have long wanted to have Laurel Bakery closer to our sister restaurants, but sometimes exciting new steps mean tough choices. After a year of rapid growth and change — and heading into a naturally slower season for the neighborhood — we’ve made the hard but intentional choice to pause, reflect, and reimagine what this next era at Laurel Bakery can be.
